Dr. Bobby Brown

Dr. Bobby Brown earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Milsaps College and his Medical Doctorate from the University of Alabama Medical School. Dr. Brown completed his residency at the University of Mississippi where he met Dr. McCool-Pearson.

Today, urogynecology, general gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery are his specialties. A member of the American Urogynecological Society, he has been a National Preceptor (clinical educator) for women’s health and urology. Dr. Brown has received extensive training and experience in the evaluation and treatment of conditions that affect the female pelvic organs and muscles and connective tissues supporting those organs. He has been very involved in the implementation of a daVinci Robotics program at Thomas Hospital. Dr. Brown is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology. He also has expertise in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of non-cancerous gynecological problems.

Dr. Brown lives in Fairhope with his wife, Jana, and his daughters, Camille and Campbell. He loves spending time with his family. He is very involved in breast cancer awareness and served as a local ambassador for the Real Men Wear Pink campaign for the American Cancer Society. Dr. Brown’s passion for his work is evident in his care and concern for his patients as his commitment to them encompasses not only their medical well-being but their emotional health and happiness.

Dr. Angela McCool-Pearson

Dr. Angela McCool-Pearson earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Mississippi State and her Medical Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. During medical school and her residency in OB/GYN, she garnered numerous scholarships and academic awards, including being named Chief Administrative Resident.

Today, urogynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery are her specialties. A member of the American Urogynecological Society, she has been a National Preceptor (clinical educator) for women’s health and urology. Her more recent focus has been on DaVinci Robotic assisted surgery, specifically single site hysterectomy for improved cosmesis and reduced postoperative pain for her patients. She has been very involved in the implementation of a daVinci Robotics program at Thomas Hospital along with becoming a nationwide proctor for Intuitive Surgical, training other physicians in robotic surgical techniques. Dr. McCool-Pearson is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also has additional training in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy as a special interest to provide alternatives to women who seek relief from menopausal symptoms as well as training in newer technologies that improve the quality of life and sexual health for women of all ages.

Dr. McCool-Pearson enjoys down time with her family. She and her husband, Bill, enjoy cycling and strength training to stay fit. Her two sons, Coby and Cain, and daughter Camille, keep them busy with their extra-curricular activities as well. They attend 3 Circle Church where Dr. McCool-Pearson is actively involved with the Hope Center in its local ministry to service under privileged women in Baldwin and Mobile counties and Honduras.

Dr. Christy Guepet

Dr. Christy Guepet is originally from Andalusia, Alabama. She and her husband Tray were thrilled to have the opportunity to move back to south Alabama in 2015. Dr. Guepet earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Duke University and her Medical Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. After completing her internship, residency and chief residency at UAB, she stayed in Birmingham in private practice for a decade before moving to Fairhope.

Dr. Guepet is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive surgery. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Urogynecology Society.

Her clinical interests include office gynecology, urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, hormone replacement, women’s wellness and office cosmetic treatments including Botox and Juvederm. She has extensive experience with Davinci Robotic Surgical techniques as an early adopter of its use in benign gynecologic surgery and has been a proctor for these procedures for over 5 years.

Dr. Guepet lives in Fairhope with her husband Tray and children, Matthew and Ellie. Their family is active in local schools, sports and church activities. She cherishes the time they spend together in the water and sun, traveling, watching sports events and skiing. Dr. Guepet’s faith is integral in all that she does at work and at home, and she believes that her practice of medicine is her ministry opportunity to improve the lives of women and their families.

Mitzi Thompson, CNP, WHNP, Jennifer Lambert, WHNP and Joan Bramlett, WHNP work side by side with our physicians to provide you with the most comprehensive and compassionate care. They are here to help address all levels of gynecological problems as well as perform yearly Well Woman exams. These wonderful, intuitive and extremely knowledgeable ladies go above and beyond the call to deliver the best care possible!

Surgery Coordinator

Scheduling surgery can often be complicated and stressful. Our surgical coordinator, Brooke Davis, will walk you through the process from start to finish. Brooke has ten years of experience and will assist you in making sure that you feel comfortable going forward with your procedure. She will schedule your procedure and work with you to help you understand how your insurance covers outpatient care. She is committed to making your surgical experience stress and worry free!!

Administrative Staff

The ladies that greet you at check in and meet you at checkout strive to make sure your appointment is handled with professionalism and a warm smile. They know going to the doctor can be stressful and they work very hard to make sure your visit with us is the opposite of that. In a world of complicated medical care, they strive to help you understand the business end of your care. They may not have all the answers but they work hard to help you get the support you need to understand your care!

Ultrasound Sonographer

At Brown, Pearson, and Guepet, ultrasound helps us examine your pelvic organs more closely diagnose any abnormalities. For your convenience, our advanced ultrasound technology is located in our office. An ultrasound exam can help us:

  • Identify a pelvic mass
  • Find causes of pelvic pain
  • Find causes of abnormal bleeding or other menstrual problems
  • Find the position of an intrauterine device (IUD)
  • Diagnose and treat infertility

Julie Jenkins, RDMS, is our certified ultrasound sonographer. She is here to make sure that you receive the attention you need for this procedure. Her sweet demeanor and warm smile are always a part of her treatment!
